Angela Harkness, Attorney at Law, Principal
A Westford resident since 1988, Attorney Harkness has over thirty years of experience resolving personal legal matters. She and her husband Scott have three children and she serves the Town of Westford in many volunteer capacities. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston University and a Juris Doctorate from New England School of Law. Attorney Harkness is admitted to practice before the Supreme Judicial Court of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the United States District Courts for the Districts of Massachusetts and South Carolina, the United States Court of Appeals for the First and Fourth Circuits and the Supreme Court of the United States.

Brian G. Alcorn, Attorney at Law, Associate
Brian G. Alcorn is a lifelong Westford resident who graduated from UMass Lowell with a Bachelor of Science and received his Juris Doctorate from the Massachusetts School of Law. Before becoming an attorney, Brian worked as a licensed real estate agent, and was active in the local real estate market. Since 2010, he has brought his varied knowledge, a high degree of enthusiasm, and a fresh way of looking at things to our firm. He volunteers as a member of the Board of Directors of the Westford Friends of East Boston Camps, and also on the Board of Directors of Westford Community Access Television.

Allison Ryan, Real Estate Paralegal
Allison started with Harkness Law Office as a Secretary/Receptionist in 1994 and soon moved into the Real Estate Paralegal position. The experience she has accrued over the years allows her to guide our clients effortlessly on their journey from loan application through closing.

Wendy Harrington, Administrative Assistant/Legal Secretary
Since 2010 Wendy has kept everything in the office running smoothly. Her background as a court stenographer insures an attention to detail that is reflected in the quality of our work and her pleasant, "can do" attitude always makes contact with our office a positive experience.

Scott Harkness, Title Abstractor
Scott has handled title abstracting for our firm for over fifteen years. With Scott available in house our title examinations, recordings and all courier duties are performed with a high degree of efficiency and are always accomplished in a timely manner.
